The Journey began on Tuesday 22 May at Whitehaven in Cumbria cycling through the Lake District and National Park and stopping in Penrith at the end of the day. This leg of the journey was described as very scenic and beautiful.
Day two they set of from Penrith cycling through the Pennines and stopping for the night in Stanhope (Durham). The day was described as plain but pretty and the toughest of the three days.
On the final day Thursday 24 May they travelled through County Durham from Stanhope to Sunderland.
It had been a grueling three days for the team but here at Broughton House we are extremely grateful for all their hard work and efforts in not only completing the Challenge but collecting the sponsorship to the tune of £1,902.00.
150 miles were cycled in total. Once again we would like to thank the team. We are truly grateful for their endeavors and wish them all good luck for the future. Thank you.
