It’s 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl and to celebrate, there are hundreds of ways to get involved in the most fantabulous celebrations all September!
To kick start the action, the Oxford English Dictionary has revised and added entries into the dictionary from the world famous author including words ‘splendiferous, scrumdiddlyumptious and Oompa Loompa’! Plus Dahl’s very own dictionary has been launched, compiled by Dr Susan Rennie and containing 287 pages of “only really interesting words” plus beautiful illustrations from Quentin Blake.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity aims to make life better for seriously ill children in the UK.
