Find a charity place in the Virgin Money London Marathon
Is one of your New Year’s Resolutions to run a marathon this year?
If you missed out on a place in the London Marathon ballot but are determined to run it in 2016, there are still some charity places left. Charities will usually require you to raise a minimum sponsorship amount for them – make sure you set up your fundraising page with Charity Choice and share it with friends, family, colleagues, and on Facebook.
Some charities still have places left in their team, while others have waiting lists in case any of their runners are unable to take part and have to drop out. It is worthwhile getting in touch with your favourite charity to see if you can put your name down as a reserve runner, you never know when you might be needed!
If you already had a place in the ballot but have decided you’d like to raise money for charity with your run, any of these charities will be delighted to hear from you – or search our charity directory if you’d like to find another charity to support.
These charities are all registered with Charity Choice, so you can run the marathon and raise money for them easily by setting up a fundraising page with us. Get in touch with them directly via the contact details on their profiles to find out about places, and good luck!
