Do you flip out for Pancake Day? Why not invite some friends round and hold a fundraising pancake party for Cardiomyopathy Association next week?
The Great Pancake Party is first ever national fundraising event for the Cardiomyopathy Association, with over 200 events going on all over the country, from town halls to home kitchens. It can be as big or small as you like, and there is still time to join in!
We love the ideas of hosting a Pancake Olympics with a ‘Flipping Sprint’, a pancake obstacle course, and an attempt at a world record for the ‘Largest Pancake Tossing Relay’, which involve getting participants to toss a pancake down a line without dropping it.
Need some ideas for holding a pancake party at home? You could make chocolate flavoured pancakes, create a giant checkers game using pancakes, make pancake faces with drizzled strawberry syrup, run a contest for the most interesting pancake shape,or the highest stack, or most creative flavour combination.. or just enjoy tucking into traditional pancakes with lemon and sugar while helping a great cause!
Cardiomyopathy Association are hoping you can help them raise £25,000 through the pancake feast, which will help fund support for people living with cardiomyopathy, along with training videos for doctors and nurses.
