Age International strives for a world where older people are respected and valued, their voices are heard, their basic needs are met, and their human rights are realised.  

Older people around the world face discrimination, poverty, isolation and a lack of support. We focus on helping older people claim their rights, access better healthcare, gain financial security and build vital social connections. And when disaster strikes, we help them get tailored support in order to survive and recover.

We are the international arm of the Age UK Group and the UK member of the HelpAge International global network. We are the only member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) which specifically delivers age-focused humanitarian response in emergencies.
