The Benevolent Fund for Nurses in Scotland was established in 1925 to give assistance to members of the profession who trained or worked in Scotland. Financial grants are given to individuals of any age who have a limited income, due to disabilities caused by illness or injury. The Fund also offers assistance to retired members of the profession who receive little or no superannuation pension. Sadly, more and more nurses are finding it necessary to seek our help, and it is only by your generosity we are able to continue to help those less fortunate members of our profession. The Fund is administered by a Committee of Trustees, nearly all of whom are members of the nursing profession. Contributions may be sent to the Liaison Officer, Mrs Margaret Ross, at the below address.
