Bransby Horses

Founded in 1968, Bransby Horses is one of the UK’s largest equine welfare and rescue charities. We are committed to positively impact on the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules through; our effective and efficient equine rescue service; care, rehabilitation and training to equines, and through our successful Rehoming Scheme that continues to reflect our dedication to both equines and fosterers. We are further committed to influencing equine welfare culture through knowledge, learning and non-judgmental advice.

With 900-plus equines in our care either on our two Lincolnshire sites or in trusted foster homes nationwide, Bransby Horses work seven days a week, 365 days a year to provide the care needed.

Due to the increase in the cost of living, the charity is in need now more than ever as the demand for our rescue and welfare work to remove equines from danger or suffering continues to rise.

Three in four horses are cared for through legacies left to the charity. With this generosity from our wonderful supporters, Bransby Horses is able to continue to rescue and care for equines and provide them with a life worth living. Every legacy received is valued and works hard for the equines in our care.
