Leaving a legacy to Carers Trust

Leave a gift in your will
Carers give up so much to put their loved ones first: careers, education and even their health and they get very little support from the state or their community.

There are 7 million unpaid carers in the UK and this number will continue to grow in the years to come.  Carers Trust and the 130 network partners that awe represent are often the only ones who are directly helping carers and shouting loud for them.

A gift in your will can ensure we can create a society where carers are valued, heard and have they support they need to live a fulfilling life alongside caring.

In memory donations
Remember a loved one by asking friends and relatives to make a donation in their memory to Carers Trust. This could be given on important anniversaries or perhaps instead of buying funeral flowers.

You could co-ordinate your in memory donation online by creating a page on Justgiving to circulate to your friends and family.

How to leave a legacy?
It's easy to include a gift to Carers Trust in your Will, but you should always consult a professional, such as a solicitor or financial adviser, to be sure your Will reflects your exact intentions and you understand tax implications.

A legacy of any size really makes a difference in our ability to help carers all across the UK. When you are next considering writing or updating your Will, all you would have to do is contact your professional advisers and tell them the sum (or percentage of your estate) that you would like to leave us. Your adviser will need only our charity name, address and registered charity number.

Make a Pledge

Gifts left in wills are really important to Carers Trust. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.

Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing Carers Trust to confidently estimate future support for their cause.
