Fnd Hope UK

The most common condition you have never heard of: Functional Neurological Disorder

Registered Charity Number: 1173607 , SC048333

Leave a gift in your will

Each year at FND Hope UK, approximately 8000 people are diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, and we estimate there to be between 50,000 and 100,000 adults and young children living with FND.

There is no clinically agreed care pathway for FND in the NHS and no NICE or SIGN guidelines. This means not only that care is substandard, but that there is no current quality or outcomes tracking to measure patient care and outcomes.

FND Hope UK was the first charity in the UK, to take the issues experienced to Parliament in February 2023, to highlight the inequity of care our community face.  Too many people with FND are simply not believed. Greater education is therefore needed for healthcare professionals, to understand and manage FND effectively.

Which is why your gift, no matter how large or small, is vital to the work of FND Hope UK to help us support those affected by FND. Our mission is to promote awareness, support affected individuals, and advance research for the prevention, treatment and recovery of FND.

Thank you for your consideration and support; by remembering us in your Will you would be making a lasting contribution to our work.
