Winners of our Stories competition
This is the 3rd year we have run a global story-writing competition for children aged 7 to 11 to mark World Values Day in mid October - and this year the quality of the "amazing submissions" was so high, the judges had a difficult task but "a welcome problem" picking the best entries.
Stories poured in from America, Africa, India and the UK. Do read the top 9 pieces available from the STORIES COMPETITION page on our website: www.humanvaluesfoundation.com/story-competition.html.
As the Chair of the panel of judges, Sir Al Aynsley-Green remarked, "Every one of the stories is outstanding in the quality of thinking and ability to convey some profound thoughts. So very well done to every child. I was particularly struck by the compassion that was repeatedly displayed arguing well for attitudes in their homes and schools for instilling such humanity in children so young."
