The University of Cambridge Veterinary School Trust (CAMVET) was established in 1983 to support capital and development projects at Cambridge Veterinary School – one of the foremost veterinary centres in the UK.
New equipment and facilities are not only vital for the thousands of patients referred to Cambridge for treatment each year, but provide a thriving intellectual environment to produce the next generation of world-class veterinary surgeons.
Through our supporters we have raised over £9 million for a variety of projects at Cambridge Veterinary School including: Europe’s first animal Cancer Therapy Unit; a Small Animal Wing and Intensive Care Unit; and the world's first Chair in Animal Welfare. A Surgical Suite, an Equine Diagnostic Unit, a Farm Animal Medicine Centre and a new radiotherapy machine for our Cancer Therapy Unit have recently been added to our list of achievements, while our latest fundraising campaign has provided Cambridge Veterinary School with a state-of-the-art Clinical Skills Teaching Centre and ten new Consulting Rooms. But we still have a lot to do.
Your gift or legacy today will enable us to continue to provide the best treatment for the sick and injured animals in our care, and help us to train the veterinary surgeons of the future, on whom the health and welfare of all animals depends. Thank you for your support.
